DVB102/WEEK2/Oneperday2020/Images 1-5
This week’s work is to draw a sketch of an object that changes over time, which mean uses five images to explain the theme of this week-the passage of time. Based on this theme, I decided to chisel a part of rectangular clay every day and record this process to reflect the theme of this week.

Technique: HB 2B pencil

Process:

In the first image, I sketched this complete piece of clay, it still wholly, no part was chiselled. I started the draft with HB pencil and drew a rectangle, and I used 2B pencil to draw the shadow and dark side

Process:
Today, I can finally chiselled out a part of the clay. I try to be careful every time I dig, because I have to continue chisel for 4 days. First I the draft a rectangle with an HB pencil,  I drew the details after chiseled on the basis of the draft.

Process:
I decided to chisel 3/1 of the clay every day for the remaining 3 days, so I chiselled out the upper half of the clay this time. And my line drawing is not good enough when I deal with the shadow surface.

Process:
This is the last second day, which means that the next chiseling will exhaust it, so I chiseled more from the top.

Process:
By the last day, there was only a small piece of the poor clay, but there were still many sections to depict.
